China lifts export prices of HRC, heavy plate to Korea

China has lifted the exported price of HRC and heavy plate to Korea.

Currently, HRC and heavy plate prices have increased by some US$50/ton compared to last December.

Market participants said that Chinese mills held an optimistic attitude towards the steel market, thus they decided to lift their prices.

Some mills have increased the price further, offering US$560-570/ton for HRC and US$620/ton for heavy plate to Korea.
